"Baharen  Phir Bhi Aayengi" in the  fine  tradition  of  Guru  Dutt Films, is a story of lofty ideals, of laughter and tears, of tense drama.

You    meet   the    high   minded,   young     newspaper     reporter Jitendra (Dharamendra), who exposes corruption and profiteering in a coal mine only to lose his job.
You admire Arnita (Mala Sinha), the boss of  the  newspaper,  who fires Jitend ra but later reinstates him when she realises the truth of his report, reminding her of the high ideals for which her father founded the newspaper. Jitendra has brought a new meaning into Amita's life.

You will love Amita's   younger   sister, Sunita (Tanuja), impulsive and delightful, who meets Jitendra under unusual  circumstances and falls in love with him.

Then there's Verma (Rehman), a director in Amita's newspaper and a friend of the family, who loves Arnita in secret; and Vikram, Verma's frivolous younger brother, who has set his eyes on Sunita.

You will laugh at Chunilal (Johnny), Jitendra's friend and a press photographer, and at his romantic adventures.  Ruby Chatterjee (Madhavi), a bright telephone operator in the office, who is Chunni's latest conquest, however puts Chunni in his place.

All seems well when suddenly fate plays its hand and Amita's world is shaken from its very  foundations.  She learns, when it is too late, that she is in love with the same man her sister, Sunita, loves. The other unprincipled directors in her newspaper, to whom most of her shares are mortgaged do not see eye to eye with her and want to throw her out. And one night, Sunita, leaves home for what seems to Arnita no reason at all.

"Baharen Phir Bhi Aayengi" will be the unforgettable experience of your life.
